2016 Sri Lanca Super 7s - The tournament will feature top international 7s players from major rugby-playing nations while the cream of Sri Lanka's talent will be in the frontline.

2016 Hong Kong Rugby 10s - The 31st Hong Kong Rugby
10s will be taking place at Hong Kong Football Club on 2nd to the 10th April 2016. This year sees the tournament once again
at a 16 team format to ensure the talent and skill level is at the highest possible level.
Jason Kriel of Durbell WP and Jos Malherbe are the only two South Africans that will be participating in this tournament as part of the Samurai Team.

DHL WP 7s Rugby: Jason Kriel from DHL Western Province sevens rugby team arrived at Nelspruit (Bombela) to compete in the 2015 SARU Interprovincial Sevens tournament at the Bombela Stadium (Mpumalanga) on Friday 6th, Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th of November 2015.
Head Coach of the Men’s side Ricky Petersen has a very strong squad at his disposal with a potent blend of youth and experience. Sevens stalwarts Anthony Taylor, Earl Johnson, and Armien Bailey have made the squad and will be called upon to guide the younger talents such as Durbell’s Jason Kriel, False Bay’s Danie Roux, and Hamiltons’ Iewan Bartels.

The Kaizer Chiefs Rugby 7's team will arrive at the scenic Outeniqua Park in George with a squad consisting of no less than four former Springbok Sevens internationals, some leading Varsity Cup players as well as the Southern Kings try-scoring sensation, Sergeal Petersen. Training hard this morning in the rain.

Former SA Schools fullback Leroy Bitterhout will bring even more side-stepping prowess to the team that also include regular sevens exponents Reg Muller and Jason Kriel, who donned the Vodacom Blue Bulls colours in last year's tournament.

2013 SEVENS ELITE PLAYER DEVELOPMENT TRAINING SQUAD

HA dark horse will be the Samurai team, coach by former Blitzbok Neil Powell and consisting of players from the Elite Development Squad from SARU. The team already clinched the Safari Sevens in Nairobi a couple of weeks ago, beating the IRB core team and host, Kenya, in the final.
The South Africa Sevens EPD squad that will compete in the Emirates Airline Dubai Rugby Sevens Invitation Tournament taking place on Thursday 29th November - Saturday 1st December 2012.
The players wil be in Dubai from 25 November - 2 December and will play in the tournament as the Dubai Samurai Team.

The draw for the 18th Safaricom Sevens was announced for 2013 Safaricom Safari Sevens:
Kenya Morans, losing finalists at last year are the tournament top seeds and headline Pool A alongside Zambia, Bostwana and Western Bulls.

Zimbabwe: SA Academy Spar Sevens 2013

SOUTH Africa Academy with Jason Kriel in the startup team lifted the Spar Zimbabwe International Sevens rugby tournament with a 42-0 thumping of fellow South Africans Leopards in the Cup final at Harare Sports Club yesterday. The Academy beat the Cheetahs 5-12 in the Cup semi-final and it was the Cheetahs who lifted the Plate after edging Kenya 7-0 but Cheetahs coach Gilbert Nyamutsamba said they achieved most of their objectives despite not making it to the final. The win by the SA Academy left Blitzbokke coach Paul Treu a happy man.
